The Lab

The Lab is a gel-free nail salon in Winchmore hill on a mission to redefine the hygiene standards in the nail industry. They asked me to modernise their Wix website, which had grown outdated and lacked a consistent visual style. The site also had some key usability and accessibility issues including low text contrasts, small text, and buttons used as decorative boxes with no links attached.

For this project, I conducted a usability audit on their existing website, then moved into Figma to create some mock-ups, and finally went into Wix to bring their modernised, clinical website vision to life. During the redesign build, I noticed they weren't making use of repeaters or the Wix CMS, so I worked my magic and created some CMS collections of all their pricing and services, so if they had any changes in the business, they'd be able to fix them in one simple click - easy right? (I do love a good process)
